When I look at my inventory, most entries are gray white (positive balance) and some are orange (negative balance.) However, when I expand an item to look at it’s details, sometimes there is a transaction that is yellow-orange (see example in picture.) What is this?

Typically it means negative. In this case, it is orange because it is leaving your inventory and going elsewhere.
Ah, I see - it only shows up when it leaves my inventory AND goes to another player. Items that leave inventory due to crafting or Post Office exchange don’t get flagged orange. Awesome, thank you!
Color coding in player inventory is horribly inconsistent. I can’t even remember why I did it that way other than just to pursue deadline.
